It has been twelve days since Creighton last played in a game. That much time off for a team that was as hot as they were can be horrible. No matter how hard you practice you can't simulate the feel of a real game and with so much time off I expect Creighton to come into this one a little flat offensively and going up against a very good defense like Alabama's will give this Creighton team a lot of problems.
Creighton has a very good looking record (28-5) but who have they really won against that is impressive? It's no stretch at all to say if Alabama had played the exact same schedule as Creighton this season that they would have done even better.
Alabama had one of the toughest schedules in the country this season and managed to come out of it with a 21-11 record. Bama can compete with some of the better teams in the nation and nothing leads me to believe that Creighton can do the same.
Alabama will play this game at their pace, nice and slow, and will grind out the win over this overrated Creighton team. Alabama gets no credit for what they've done this season because the record isn't as cute as Creighton's and Alabama isn't known to be a basketball school but they are definitely the better team in this matchup and should be able to pick up the W here.
